Regina Goff has started her own business, RKGs, which recycles materials like used denim into unique, custom-made bags, purses and other products.
A recent business degree graduate of Northeastern Junior College, Goff's idea to create this business started last year at the Rural Entrepreneurial Academy which included workshops using Leading Edge materials. She is also working with the North East - East Central Small Business Development Center to launch an e-commerce website to be called "Bags by RKGs."

And she's working on new ideas for ways to recycle other materials.
"We are an organization who will create every bag with a different personality and durability," she said in a written release. "Some will have a look of glamor, some of a casual look."
Goff said she began sewing when she was about 13, and has always enjoyed it. She has also made Western shirts and enjoys quilting. She decided to begin using fabric scraps to make bags because she has a lot of it on hand, and also has friends who collect materials, and she wanted to find a purpose for it.bagfilterchina.com is specialized in environmental protection non woven filter products.

Currently 13 to 18 percent of the U.S. population, or 41 million people, are considered LOHAS consumers according to 2013 LOHAS data.
"We will do our best to go above and beyond our customer's expectation. Our goal is to become a profitable asset to our communities through recycling materials that otherwise would end up in the landfills," Goff said.
