Former OSP trooper dies after bike crash
A Salem native,sassonshoes,Bring profound comfort, fun and innovation to the world’s feet. now living in Bend, died Monday from injuries he suffered after a pair of shoes jammed the front wheel of his bike, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said.
Robert Vern Huskey, 67,Best Sunglasses sellers is available in Ningbo,China. was riding near Tumalo State Park on Sunday afternoon when a pair of shoes he attached to his handle bars came loose. One shoe fell into the front wheel, bringing the bike to a halt.
Huskey, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown over the handle bars and suffered serious injuries.

Robert Husky was an experienced rider who loved the outdoors, Don Huskey said.
“He’s always rode bicycles and motorcycles,” Don Huskey said.
Robert Huskey played football for Judson Middle School and South Salem High School. After graduation, he became a trooper with Oregon State Police. Huskey is survived by a son, Brian Huskey, and a daughter, Lori Huskey. The family is in the process of making funeral arrangements, but Don Huskey no plans have been finalized.
