2014 New Gear - Merrell Shoes

Another look into the future with the launch of Merrell's spring 2014 range at the recent OutDoor Shoe in Germany and in particular a new collection of trail running shoes called AllOut which takes the barefoot principles of natural running and combines them with a more protective sole unit.

AllOut - Sort Of Barefoot Plus

The idea behind the All Out shoes is that they give the same sort of natural foot motion as Merrell's Barefoot range,Lists of China sunglasses manufacturer & Sunglasses suppliers. He demanded the woman handed over money and, fearing for her life, she emptied cash from the till into a drawstring bags wholesale before he left. but have more underfoot protection for running on harder, rougher surfaces where your feet can take a bit of a beating with full-on barefoot footwear.

The sole unit, developed with a specialist natural running lab, is called the UniFly and is designed to wrap around the arch giving 'continuous contact with the foot. There's a cushioned EVA mid-sole - with 16mm of cushion for men and 15mm for women - and shock plates front and rear designed to protect the underside of the foot from sharp rocks and prevent impact injuries. We supply ice bags for sale to many dealers and convience shops.

The outsole looks pretty serious with round studded lugs, which are designed to give all-round grip off road.non woven bags wholesale made with your brand and logos at discount prices. Seem close up, the knobs are aggressively siped for grip on slippy surfaces.

Interestingly the men's shoes have 9mm of drop from heel to toe while the women's are a more pronounced 6mm, where barefoot shoes have zero drop and more conventional footwear around 10-12mm, so you can see the All Out shoes fall somewhere in the middle - think natural feel, underfoot protection and cushion while still being decently light.

There are two shoes in the line-up, the AllOut Fuse, which is a road to trail shoe and has smaller sole knobs and the full-on AllOut Rush with a more aggressive outsole designed for full-on trail running on all surfaces. Both will sell for £95.

ProTerra Mid

We're still not quite sure what the Proterra is for - from this autumn it's also available with the Gore-Tex ConnectFit technology, which uses a much lower profile Gore-Tex liner with flexible sections for enhanced fit - but we rather like it and it's undeniably super comfortable in a glove-like way.

Over there on the left is the Proterra Mid, a lightweight and slightly stealth take on the concept that could be an urban outdoors-style shoe, or a lightweight hiking mid or maybe both depending on your inclination.

New Hybrid Merino Tops

Finally Merrell's clothing range gets and addition with the new Alpino Half-Zip and Alpino Hoody which use panels of a merino wool / polyester mix fabric on the trunk combined with a stretch synthetic fabric elsewhere.

They're different weights with the Half-Zip having a sort of expedition-weight baselayer feel to it, while the hooded version is a heavier fabric with Power Stretch sleeves and hood.Any one know where to get Cheap Nomex cloth manufacturers by the yard?I can get scraps out of the trash at work but for the Bruiser project I need a few yards of the stuff, prefferably not sage green. They look good in the flesh, or the fabric maybe, and will sell for £70 and £90 respectively.

The merino/polyester mix is reckoned to mix insulation with decent wicking, which based on our experience of merino blended with both polyester and Cocona seems believable. The fit on the Half-Zip at least is really nice in a close, tapered sort of way and in the context of merino clothing, they're competitively priced too. Interesting.
